My health journey started around 2011. I was in my third year of modeling and first year as a makeup artist. I realized I needed a change in my diet but I wanted do it in a healthy way. Working with models everyday really makes you aware of your body image. So one day, someone recommended I read the book "Skinny Bitch" This book was a game changer for me in starting my journey. Over the years I have experimented with different foods and diets vegan/vegetarian/plant-based/paleo diet. What I have found works best for me is eating mostly a whole foods, plant-based diet, and listening to what my body needs. It really comes down to how you feel and what works for your body. So I wanted to create a place for busy people to come for access to healthy recipes that are easy to follow and straight to the point!
With all that being said, eating healthy is only part of the puzzle. I believe if you are going to do the work of eating non-toxic foods, you should put that same effort into every other aspect of your life. So I will also be sharing with you some natural beauty tips I've learned from being in the modeling industry, as well as, lifestyle tricks to rid your life of toxins and keep you on your "A" game so you will always be camera ready!
